Why is fighting still active, why it didn’t disappear from the days of old gladiators? Because life is one big fight!
Some get into martial arts to be professional fighters because they have talent, some because it is only option for them to feed their families, some do it because they love it. But every reason to do it has one same thing we all share, and it is because we have to. We have to do it to fill the void we have deep within us, we have to for the sake of us, for the sake of those surrounding us.
If you ask me, it should be mandatory for everyone to take martial arts classes. Love it or hate it, you have to admit it, we live in a crazy world right now, and everyone should at least know bare minimum how to defend themselves. Woman, children, elderly, everyone. One out of ten will guaranteed like it, matter of fact love it, and try to pursue career in it.
I hate that I myself can’t return back to boxing, because that was and still is my biggest wish in life, goal that is. But hey, I am 24, I trained for four years and I am still fairly young, one day maybe, just maybe will get the taste of boxing again. But by then i found that this blog is my savior. My current goal is becoming as my current followers know, recognized in world as legit martial arts journalist, and I am pushing towards it and if luck strikes me, i am returning big time to the ring. Everybody will get to know fierce fighter from Croatia. Hoping to walk out to the ring while I’m Back from DMX plays in background. This is reason why fighting, to fulfill lifelong dreams and goals. Learn from it, adapt, overcome, become better. That is fighting, that is life.
